I get mad hankerin's for a burger and Astro is where I head. They not only are delicious but they have a variety of VEGETARIAN options that make me so damn happy (their fake steak is a little weird with that spongy texture). And frikkin Zucchini Fries. And they are open pretty late and have a drive through! Rock!
It really irks me is that they are cash only and they do have an ATM inside but it's got a $2 charge on it which kind sucks when at a la cart prices things add up fast.

I give this place 5-stars even though they are a bit pricey for fast food. However, you can't exactly compare them to McDonald's or Burger King. I had to review them because I've eaten there twice this week. I've had a burrito, and the air fries, and I'm sure I've tried a few other things, but I keep coming back for my regular: cheeseburger and iced yerba mate. I believe everything is vegan here. The cheese is made from soy, the shakes are non-dairy, etc. This is vegetarian fast food heaven.
I do have one warning: no bathroom on the premises....

Best vegan hot dogs I've ever had! Sometimes vegan dogs can be on the dry side, but these are super fresh and full of flavor. My favorite is the witch though they are all delicious. Can't wait until they have a permanent spot!!

A friendly staff and all that comes with it. What else is there to say other than kudos?!

The Trails Cafe is one of my favorite spots in Los Angeles. Beautifully situated on Fern Dell Drive in Griffith Park, it's the perfect spot to grab a homemade snack and gourmet coffee before or after a hike up to the observatory. You can't go wrong with any of the pies, but don't miss out on the scones. They are, without a doubt, the best scones in Los Angeles!
